Carlton Thermal Systems Ltd. offer fully customisable pinch-off tubes designed and manufactured by Solid Sealing Technology, Inc. in New York State, USA.

Solid Sealing Technology, Inc. specialises in the design and manufacture of highly engineered, sealed products used on high tech analytical or process equipment, servicing a wide range of industries and utilising the latest equipment and processes to join advanced materials including: metalizing of ceramics, high temperature brazing, glass-ceramic sealing, welding, and critical mechanical assembly. 
Our customers can choose from the standard range as listed on our downloads page, or they can customize the product to meet their specific needs. Options range from purchasing vacuum annealed OFHC copper tubes in common, fractional diameters (cut to length), to outfitting the copper tubes with weld adapters, vacuum flanges, NPT fittings or other customer required hardware.

In addition to pinch-off tube assemblies, we also offer a low-cost pinch-off tool for customers that have low volume production or laboratory requirements. This hand-held tool uses hydraulics and hardened steel inserts to provide a reliable, vacuum tight seal.

Standard Pinch-off Tube Specifications

  • Tube materials are OFE copper CDA 101 (standard) or nickel 200 for special applications
  • Assemblies are vacuum brazed, and all materials are UHV compatible
  • Available with weldable adapters, vacuum flanges, or special fittings
  • Standard product offerings or customized to your application (use part # configurator on any of the attached pdf drawings)
  • Cleaned and bagged for UHV service
