BEKA Type Circular Duct Heaters

Carlton Thermal Systems supplies a BEKA type heaters. Main advantage of this type of heater is that it is supplied with an automatic reset safety thermostat as well as manual reset safety thermostat with the setpoint fixed at 100°C

Circular Duct:

• Galvanised steel thickness 10/10eme from 100 to 400mm
• 30mm rubber lip seals to prevent air leakage
• Mounting by male sockets of 30mm length.

Terminal Box:

• Dimensions following heater type
• Protection – IP44
• Equipped with polyamide grommets for the wiring of power and security, grounding screw

Heating Elements:

• Heating element, tube Ø 8.5 or Ø 10 stainless steel AISI 304
• Clamping Sleeves set in zinc plated steel Ø M15
• Power unit (depending on heater)
• Unit supply voltage: 230V
• Load on shielding tube: 3.6 or 3.8W/cm²
• Thyristor controlled

Note: minimum speed of air on the resistance must not be less than 1.5 m/s at 50°C max.

Safety Thermostat:

• Standard feature
• Automatic reset safety thermostat setpoint fixed 50°C and a manual reset safety thermostat setpoint fixed at 100°C

The setting of the control setpoint (0°C to 30°C) and the rest of the thermostat are external on the cover.
Power connection and temperature probes are terminated within enclosure
