Cable Heating Elements

Carlton Thermal Systems are closely working with RICA division IRCA S.p.A, one of the largest heater manufacturers in the World with a division dedicated to the design and manufacture of world class cable heating systems.

All RICA Cable heaters are manufactured of a resistive wire with a fibreglass support and insulating coating in: silicone, PVC, fibreglass, silicone with PVC or silicone with fibreglass. We also supply heater mats with the cable heaters encapsulated in aluminium foil. 

Heating cables are a popular solution for condensation problems in commercial/industrial and domestic refrigeration units. They can also be used as an antifreeze for drainage channels.

Cable Heating Elements are used in applications for:

• Refrigeration – refrigeration mullion heaters, drain heaters;
• Domestic heating – domestic panel radiators;
• Medical – incubators.
