PRO0524 Conservation Heating Controller

The PRO0524 controller is designed for Conservation dehumidification within areas where standard dehumidifiers cannot be used because of venting and water evacuation issues, ideally suited to older historic buildings, libraries, and archives. The unit works by comparing the controllers setpoint against the measured value from the remote temperature and humidity sensor.
When the space is above the humidity setpoint, the plug outlet of the device is enabled, allowing the heater to be powered.
Should the room temperature increase above a user defined temperature setpoint whilst the heater is enabled to dehumidify, the controller will disable the output to the heater preventing the space from overheating. When this is active an alarm symbol will be displayed. When the temperature falls below the setpoint, the output will then be automatically reset to enable dehumidification.
A comfort mode has been included to allow the user to enable the heater, which then disables the dehumidification function, allowing for local space heating to be provided. Please see the description regarding “comfort” mode.
Frost protection is provided should the space temperature become lower than 5°C.
